Lee and Ling arrive in Burbank

So I'm driving toward Tongdaemun Market, waiting for AFN to start showing tonight's episode of The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien (and, I'm happy to say, Andy Richter), and they suddenly preempt regularly scheduled programming to cut into former VP Al Gore talking about Euna Lee and Laura Ling coming back into his loving embrace.

[above: Euna Lee sobs to her CurrentTV colleague, "Oh, my God! We endangered so many people with our foolish naïveté." Not.]

Fortunately, Conan O'Brien went on, as scheduled, and talked of how Clinton brought us a different kind of Asian happy ending.

I'd be stirred by it if she'd actually said it.

I will view these two women and their male colleague Mitch Koss with complete disdain — along with Laura Ling's attention whore of a sister — until they tearfully acknowledge that their own actions may have led to the death of others.

Aww, cmon Kushibo! They're not bound to acknowledge that... they're heroes (or something).

can you sense the high level of sarcasm here?
